The Commitment of Owning a Doll

Doll ownership comes with a lot of responsibility, care, and most importantly..commitment. Am I ready for a doll? Can i afford one? And why do I want a doll? These are questions I want to explore today.

Before the Purchase

As a figure collector, I already have some experience when it comes to making decisions about owning more expensive items. For me, buying a doll felt like the next step. However, I knew that a doll is more than just a figure, it's something you have to put a lot of care into. A figure you just have to dust off now and then, but a doll needs ongoing attention. Also, you have to be sure to have enough space. Dolls are big and heavy, so that's something to keep in mind.
